Back to Blog

The first season of Fallon on Ice is officially behind us, and we couldn’t be more thankful to everyone who came out for a bit of fun on the ice. We’re already counting down the days until we can do it again in Winter 2024. Until then, take a peek at some of our highlights from this year!

Top Ice Enthusiasts – Out-of-Town Visitors

Fallonites aren’t the only ones who love conquering the ice— folks from all over came to see what Fallon on Ice is all about, from Canada to Winnemucca. Our most common out-of-town visitors hailed from neighboring towns like Fernley, Silver Springs, and Yerington. The out-of-town support means the world, and we hope you’ll make the trip back for next year’s season!

Chilling Out in Style – Parties and VIP Rentals

Fallon on Ice had an absolute blast playing host to parties and VIP rentals throughout the season. From birthdays to family get-togethers, we think skating is the perfect way to break the ice. Next season, think about hosting your soiree at Fallon on Ice and get front-row seats to all the fun it has to offer.

Weekend Wonderland – Most Visited Days

Unsurprisingly, most of the magic happened at Fallon on Ice on weekends. Saturdays, Fridays, and Sundays were the most popular days to freeze the day and have some serious fun out on the ice. With a rink always buzzing with laughter and joy, there was truly never a bad day to skate like no one was watching!

Frosty Features – Fallon on Ice in the News

Finally, we’d like to give a shoutout to all of the local news organizations that featured Fallon on Ice. Their coverage helped get the word out and turn up the excitement for a truly exciting addition to our town. Here are a few of the organizations we’re grateful to:

  • KOLO 8
  • Nevada Appeal
  • FOX 11
  • The Fallon Post
  • NEWS 4
  • Mineral County Independent-News
  • 2 NEWS

Well, that’s a wrap on the first season of Fallon on Ice! We can’t wait to see you again for Winter 2024. Until then, keep an eye out for ice rink updates on this page, and don’t forget that the Oasis of Nevada offers endless year-round fun for everyone.
