The second annual Great Basin Bull Sale will be held on February 14th through the 17th, at the prestigious Rafter 3C Event Complex in Fallon, Nevada. Much like last year, this event is designed to cater to the unique interests of local ranchers, breeders, dog-lovers or general livestock enthusiasts alike. Anticipation is running high for this four-day extravaganza. With a captivating showcase of engaging activities lined up, attendees can look forward to an unforgettable experience celebrating the pinnacle of high efficiency genetics in the cattle industry.

Kicking off the festivities on Wednesday and Thursday, February 14th and 15th, is the Great Basin Cow Dog Trial, commencing brights and early at 8 AM. This thrilling event promises a display of skills, agility, and the remarkable bond between working dogs and their handlers. 

Friday, February 16th, offers a delightful blend of entertainment and good food. Attendees are invited to partake in an evening of camaraderie and celebration at the Dinner and Dance event, commencing at 5 pm. The evening will be highlighted by a live performance from Chad Bushnell, whose recent accolade of “Modern Country Song of the Year” at the prestigious Josie Music Awards serves as a testament to his musical prowess. Guests who purchased a ticket prior to the event, will have the opportunity to revel in Bushnell’s captivating melodies while indulging in a sumptuous tri-tip dinner served promptly at 5:30 pm. Additionally, Friday morning at 8 am participants will be able to engage in the time-honored tradition of Team Branding, an event deeply rooted in the heritage and practices of the cattle industry. The pinnacle of the Great Basin event unfolds on Saturday, February 17th, the highly anticipated Great Basin Bull Sale. 

Over the course of four exciting days, this event promises a variety of experiences that will delve into the collective passion for livestock and agriculture. Participants will have the opportunity to witness the vibrant essence of the cattle industry, immersing themselves in an experience they won’t soon forget.
