For the third year, the Annual Battle Broncs event has brought the community of Fallon together for an exhilarating celebration of bronc riding. This much anticipated event is a thrilling showcase of skill, strength, and community spirit that captures the heart of what makes Fallon such a special place.

On June 18th, the community of Faloon buzzed with excitement as top-ranked Bareback and Saddle Bronc riders competed at the state-of-the-art Rafter 3C Arena. The two-day event kicked off with a Roughstock “Rodeo Camp” for all levels, ages 7 and up, where seasoned bronc riders shared their wisdom with aspiring young riders. The evening featured a lively Welcome Party with a Calcutta auction and live band.

The main event showcased incredible acts of athleticism from riders from across the state, with a fantastic lineup of rookies stealing the show. Cooper Cooke scored 85.5 points in Bareback riding in section one, while Weston Timberman impressed with 88 points in section two. This year’s total payoff was an impressive $52,828, so it’s easy to imagine that the thrilling performance and fierce competition kept the crowd on the edge of their seats.

The Battle Born Broncs event is a beloved tradition because it highlights the elite bronco riding community while also providing a space for the Fallon community to share in the excitement. It’s a must see spectacle that brings people together for an unforgettable rodeo experience!
